Yaffa studied and graduated elementary school and junior high school in her hometown. In 1943 she arrived in Budapest and learned the trade of dressmaking. Thanks to Vili Eisikovics, who came from the same town, she joined the Dror Habonim Movement. As of 19.3.1944, after the German occupation, she worked together with Eli Shalev,Betzalel Adler and others in organizing the underground, distributing Aryan papers and maintai üning contacts with their comrades. After the “Arrow Cross” coup d’état (15.10.1944) she hid in a bunker in Hungaria Boulevard. The bunker was discovered, and Yaffa and her comrades were detained in the Margit Boulevard military prison. Members of the underground released her in a daring operation, She made aliya on 5.12.1946.
Yaffa is a widow and resides in Ramat Gan.
